Volunteering
In order to volunteer in BVSD schools, all individuals must register through the Raptor system, or do a fingerprint background check. Both of these options charge a fee. But, don’t forget that you can submit your background check fees for reimbursement through ROCV. Learn more here.
Be a Crest View Crossing Guard
Can you help bring smiles and safety to our kids’ mornings? School administration has asked parents to staff the intersection of 17th and Sumac before and after school. Please reach out if you can help in any capacity.
Elk’s Park Bike Bus
Late Start Wednesdays, 8:20am. What’s more fun than biking to school? A bike bus! Join us at Elks Park, where we will take our bike joy through the neighborhoods on our way to Crest View. Supervision is not provided, so parents should plan on joining and helping ensure the bike bus is a fun and safe experience. Coffee and conversation at the bike racks upon arrival.
Fall Cleanup
Saturday, September 21st, 3-4:30pm. Come and help us for an afternoon of cleaning up and taking care of the outside of the school! This is a great way to meet and connect with other parents while serving and helping the school. Kids are welcome to join and help too!

Who is ROCV?
ReachOut Crest View (ROCV) is Crest View Elementary School’s parent-teacher organization. It is chartered to
- raise funds to support academic enrichment, scholarship needs and capital improvements,
- provide activities and events to develop and strengthen the school community, and
- sponsor periodic forums and events for parent education on issues related to elementary education and children.
