Sweet Cow – Walk & Roll – Volunteering – Crossing Guard – Community Meeting
Sweet Cow Giveback
Tuesday, October 1st, 11am-9pm. Visit the North Boulder Sweet Cow (2628 Broadway), let them know you’re with Crest View, and they’ll donate 40% back to our school!
Walk & Roll to School Day
Wednesday, 8:20-8:50am. Come to the front lawn to celebrate families who prioritize healthy activities, clean air, and reduced car traffic around school. There will be music, snacks, lawn games, and raffle prizes (no tickets — all students are pre-entered)! Cosmo, the school mascot, may even be there.
Part of this event is the ‘Ride and Stride’ for school bus riders. The school buses will drop students at the Boulder Meadows Community Center (near 19th & Violet) where they will meet staff and parent volunteers to walk the rest of the way to school. If you do not want your student to participate, please let the front office know you opt-out, and your student can remain on the bus to be dropped off at Crest View.
This event still needs parent volunteers!
Volunteering
In order to volunteer in BVSD schools, all individuals must register through the Raptor system, or do a fingerprint background check. Both of these options charge a fee. But, don’t forget that you can submit your background check fees for reimbursement through ROCV. Learn more here.
Be a Crest View Crossing Guard
Can you help bring smiles and safety to our kids’ mornings? School administration has asked parents to staff the intersection of 17th and Sumac before and after school. Please reach out if you can help in any capacity.
October ROCV Community Meeting
Thursday, October 3rd, 5-6:30pm. Join us for our first evening meeting of the school year. Agenda to be announced.
