MakerSpace Wish List

The MakerSpace needs some items! You just might have some of them in your house. Please only bring items listed as we are limited on the amount of space. Signup to bring some of our currently needed items.

Recycle Your Old Shoes

In conjunction with Eco Cycle and Soles4Souls, Crest View is collecting used shoes for recycling. The goal is to divert 1,000 pounds of shoes from the landfill. Beginning Wed Oct 12, bring your old worn out shoes to drop in the collection bins at the Walk & Roll to School day event. After that, the bins will be located near the front office.

ROCV 2022 Cougar Cash Fundraising Campaign

Did you know that Colorado ranks 29th in the nation in education spending per student? Funds raised through Cougar Cash pay for budget shortfalls and support ongoing programs, events and educational enrichments including:

  • 1.5 Paraeducators
  • Materials and furniture for
    • Creation Station (library)
    • Maker Space
    • Art, Music & PE
  • Fun learning opportunities like Destination Imagination and Battle of the Books
  • Special speakers in the classroom

EVERY DONATION HELPS!

We are asking families to donate $200 per child, but no amount is too large or too small. Funds go directly to your child’s classroom and school in ways that make a real difference. Please view this video to learn about all the ways that ROCV benefits our school.

The campaign ends on Friday, October 14th. Please don’t wait!

Food Bag Program Volunteers Needed!

Food Bag Program Volunteers Needed!

The CV Food Bag Program sends home food to approximately 60 CV families each week. Please join us to fill food bags. Volunteer opportunities happen every week. You can either volunteer for a “parent only” daytime shift or a “parent & student” after school shift. Introduce your student to the joys of giving back to their community.

Who is ROCV?

We have a 2022 video to answer that question!

ReachOut Crest View (ROCV) is Crest View Elementary School’s parent-teacher organization. It is chartered to

  • raise funds to support academic enrichment, scholarship needs and capital improvements,
  • provide activities and events to develop and strengthen the school community, and
  • sponsor periodic forums and events for parent education on issues related to elementary education and children.

And this is ROCV’s new-in-2022 website where you will find up-to-date information on what’s going on at Crest View and how you can be a part of it!
