Elk’s Park Bike Bus

Every Wednesday, 8:20am. What’s more fun than biking to school?  A bike bus! Join us at Elks Park, where we will take our bike joy through the neighborhoods on our way to Crest View. Supervision is not provided, so parents should plan on joining and helping ensure the bike bus is a fun and safe experience. Coffee and conversation at the bike racks upon arrival.

Summer Garden Volunteer

Our ROCV funded Crest View garden is a hands-on, outdoor learning spot where all CVE students have access to lessons about nature and nutrition. To be ready for the 2024-2025 fall lessons, we need families to help care for the garden beds during the summer months, and helping out is easy.

Be a Crest View Crossing Guard

Can you help bring smiles and safety to our kids’ mornings? We’re starting a crossing guard rotation! We’re looking for ten adults to volunteer one morning per week. If you can help in any capacity, please reach out through rocv.org/crossing-guards.

19th Street Construction Update

John McFarlane and Lindsay Merz from the City of Boulder joined our Community Meeting on April 11th to give an overview of the construction work underway on 19th street.

Open Fall Festival Committee Positions

We’re looking for 2 Committee Members to lead our Fall Festival in 2024 and beyond! This event occurs at the beginning of the school year and is a favorite of the students. The event will be a combination of an open-house and our typical fall festival activities, including a bike course, band, food trucks and more! The committee members are responsible for coordinating all vendors, securing volunteers and running the event.

Time commitment: several hours of email and coordination work in the Spring and throughout the summer/beginning of the school year, and coordination the week of the festival in September.

Reach out to execs@rocv.org for more information!
