With the bittersweet end of summer, it can feel like there are a million things to do to get ready for the new year of school. The checklist here may not be exhaustive, but we hope it helps!
Before July 1st: Register for bus service in Infinite Campus.Not required starting 2026-2027!- Pay for school supplies using RevTrak.
- Check Infinite Campus for your child’s bus stop assignment, set about a week before school starts.
- Check Infinite Campus for your child’s classroom assignment, set the Friday before school starts. Expect an email from your teacher by the first day of school.
- Set up a payment method for the lunchroom. Firsts are free, but a la carte and additional entries require purchase in School Cafe.
- Log into HelpAtSchools to opt into the student directory (from account settings), and review volunteering opportunities. The student directory often isn’t updated for a few weeks after school starts.
- Get a background check so you can volunteer regularly and chaperone field trips.
- Add the Crest View Elementary Google Calendar to your personal calendar. (Click Add Google Calendar in bottom-left to subscribe.)
- Register for Zapsters if your child can commute by walking, biking, and scootering.
- Register with Crest View’s Way to Go Schoolpool to find families to share your carpool, walk, or bike commute.
- Grab some new Crest View Spirit Gear.
- Support ROCV with your shopping. Connect your King Soopers account with ROCV, mention Crest View when shopping at Grandrabbit’s, or load up on clothing labels at Mabel’s Labels.
- Get the back-to-school events on your calendar: Kinder Playdates, Welcome Coffee, Back to School Night, and Fall Festival.
- Contact the ROCV Secretary to get onto our ROCV Families email list. (We’re working on an automated solution.)
- Submit your vaccination records before November. Immunization status is visible in Infinite Campus.
