ROCV operates a Food Pantry and a Weekend Food Bag Program for our Crest View families.
Families can gain access to pantry items by request through Crest View’s Family Resource Schools (FRS) coordinator, Alejandra Robles (RoblesCortesi@bouldercolorado.gov or 720-561-2869) or Crest View’s registrar Edit Morquecho (edit.morquecho@bvsd.org or 720-561-2803).
The Weekend Food Bag Program provides a bag of snacks and selected pantry items weekly. Families who qualify must opt in each week by filling out our form, which is sent out at the beginning of each week. The bags are delivered to students in their classroom on Thursday or Friday.
Our food comes from two different sources:

Community Food Share provides us with shelf stable pantry items such as rice, pasta, and canned goods.

Crest View ROCV holds a semi-annual food drive. Our main goal is to stock our pantry with snacks. These snacks are given to students by 1. Crest View staff as needed and 2. the Weekend Food Bag program. Although we appreciate any shelf stable food donations, we need individually wrapped snack items.

Visit our Food Drive webpage for instructions on how to donate during our semi-annual food drives.
Please do NOT donate items after their “Best By” date. EFAA and Community Food Share accept these items up to 1 year after expiration. After that, please compost, recycle and/or dispose of them.
